THE GROUNDS
The grounds are stunning, with plenty of space to relax or entertain, including a children's play area. There are even paddocks and stables if your pet happens to be a horse. Well-appointed kitchen (seats 6-10) as well as a luxurious dining room that seats 14. 6 large bedrooms, including 2 with private roof terraces (all super kings & an Emperor bed) and 5 beautiful bathrooms - 2 of the 6 bedrooms can be twin - these 2 rooms share a bathroom. Sleeps 14 (or 22 with additional beds / z beds, including 1 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 4 people).
THE AREA
Plenty of golf courses in the area, as well as Gosfield lake if you fancy a bit of fishing or water ski lesson! Colne Valley Railway-for the vintage experience. Cressing Temple Barns- the oldest known wooden structure in the world, hosting many events. Hedingham Castle- ideal for a family outing, or even some jousting! Colchester Zoo & Colchester Castle.
